TV OD

An obvious choice that I utterly overlooked. Drat.

If the audio stops playing, press stop and allow time for the stream to load.

This week's show is inspired by the nefarious pleasures of watching hours and hours of American television. The playlist rather speaks for itself. Highlights are Broadcast's modern psyche classic "Pendulum" and Public Eney's nifty sampling of Slayer's "Angel of Death" in "She Watch Channel Zero." And I didn't even play the normal or the Stooges (an oversight on my part).

A fine selection Simon, with one very important exception which I feel compelled to redress..(thats the trouble with theme based playlists...)
The Radiators from Space 1977 album 'TV Tube Heart' had a few TV themed tracks. Top pick is 'Prison bars', an all-time favourite of mine — great tune, and great lyrics. (By Phil Chevron actually)
"..I see the world through prison bars; 625 prison bars."
a cry of alienation, despair, and the need for HDTV obviously.

If I may, heres a link to a rather rough vinyl rip:

Many thanks for the tip Phil. What a great tune and much enhanced by the crackling vinyl.
